Occluders for congenital heart disease

Occluders for congenital heart disease are devices with various designs, shapes and sizes and that are used to close a pathological communication between two (2) vessels, cavities or organs, in order to obstruct the flow and exclude said communication from blood circulation. These devices are introduced through a catheter, which must be placed in the exact site to be occluded. They are deposited in the indicated place and do not need to be removed, since they are absorbed by the body.
